Rescue Memory Lawn Cemetery Alliance
Tandy Hunt, attorney for Rescue Memory Lawn Cemetery Alliance, met with us this morning. We turned over all the information we have been gathering to him. Mr. Hunt is moving ahead with the law suit and will keep us informed when possible. We MUST remember how important confidentiality is - so for the time being - we will have to trust him to move in the directions most appropriate. He does have the same goals as the ALLIANCE.
Some points that are very important are as follows:
- Mr. Hunt will be talking to the Roswell Daily Record. As frustrated as we ALL are - let's try, as much as possible, to let this situation rest.
- Mr. Hunt, as well as the other attorneys that will be working our law suit, have agreed to do this ABSOLUTELY FREE ! ! ! There are three requirements from us:
(1) We must raise at least $10,000.00 to pay for filing fees and court costs. It is HUGE that these attorneys are doing this for us - they are still having to pay their staffs - pay all of their overhead, etc. So, PLEASE - LET'S DO OUR PART. You can send checks to one of the following:

(2) We must channel all of our questions, information, paperwork and phone calls through the ALLIANCE. If you feel there is something that needs to be addressed by one of the attorneys - you will have to go through Jack (575-910-3760), Joan (575-937-1280) or Jery (575-937-6917). PLEASE respect the time and staff of these attorneys. If you call or go by attorney's offices, they will refer you back to the ALLIANCE BOARD.
(3) We must be very careful what we say and do. Let's not damage the outcome we all desire. Remember, our goals are best met by decorum and integrity. We are about honoring our loved ones, departed and living. That is best done by using self-control and wisdom. Sometimes, we really need to be held back due to some of these situations...You Help Us...We'll Help You.
We are trying to get a meeting place for next Tuesday night - December 1, 2009. There should be news on that tomorrow.
